Macy was abandoned miles from any houses in a remote part of Greece with no hope of finding food and left to die. She was only discovered when it was almost too late. After a couple of months of intensive care by Diasozo animal welfare volunteers in Karditsa she finally gained her weight and her strength back and has now come into foster in Worthing in the experienced hands of Cassie Hastell.
Macy is a pure bred English pointer. She's small for her breed, great with other dogs, lively and playful and loves people. She's quite bouncy so wouldn't be suitable to live with small children. She's sterilised, vaccinated, microchipped, health checked and blood tested negative for leishmaniasis, ehrlichia, heartworm and babesiosis.
Macy still has some weight to gain but is healthy and fit. She'd suit an active family and would probably love a doggy brother or sister. Her basic training is going well but she needs a family with the time and commitment to continue it further and perhaps take her to training classes. There's not a bad bone in Macy's little body and she's got so much love (and entertainment!) to give to a lucky family. She comes with full support and lifelong rescue back up.
